Cover, Contain, or Stretch?
Choose how your image fits the target dimensions.
Cover (Crop)
Fills the entire target area. The image is scaled and centered, and edges are cropped to fit exactly. Best for social media posts and product images.
Contain (Fit)
The entire image is visible within the target area. Empty space is filled with the background color. Best for logos, icons, and graphics where nothing should be cropped.
Stretch
Stretches or squishes the image to match the exact target dimensions. May distort the image. Only use if you need pixel-perfect dimensions and don't mind distortion.

Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images never leave your device — no data is sent to any server.
Are the platform presets up to date?
Yes. All dimensions are based on each platform's official 2025 specifications. We regularly verify them against each platform's documentation and update presets when they change.
What's the difference between Cover and Contain?
Cover fills the entire target area — the image is scaled up/down and centered, and any overflow is cropped. Contain fits the entire image inside the target area — you see the whole image but may get background-colored bars on the sides or top/bottom.
Does resizing reduce image quality?
The quality slider (default 90%) controls JPEG/WebP compression. At 90% the difference is invisible to the human eye. Scaling up a small image will reduce sharpness — for best results, start with a high-resolution source image.
Can I resize images on my phone?
