By downloading, installing, or using MediaOptim Mobile ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

MediaOptim Mobile is a mobile application for iOS and Android that helps you free up storage space by:

• Compressing photos while maintaining visual quality
• Compressing videos while maintaining visual quality
• Converting Live Photos to standard photos (iOS only)
• Detecting and helping you remove junk photos (blurry, dark, etc.)
• Sorting media by file size
• Providing storage optimization tips

All processing happens locally on your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded to any server.

3. License Grant

Free Features

The App may offer limited free features. These are provided on an "as-is" basis for personal, non-commercial use.

MediaOptim Pro (One-Time Purchase)

Purchasing MediaOptim Pro grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use all features of the App on devices associated with your Apple ID or Google account. The license includes:

• Unlimited photo compression
• Unlimited video compression
• All current and future features
• Use on multiple personal devices (same account)

4. Purchases and Payments

• All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
• Prices are displayed in your local currency
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase
• MediaOptim Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription

5. Refund Policy

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) according to their respective policies:

• iOS: Request refunds through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com
• Android: Request refunds through Google Play Store

We recommend trying the free features before purchasing to ensure the App meets your needs.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Maintain backups of important photos and videos
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Not distribute or resell the App or your license

7. Your Content

You retain all rights to your photos, videos, and other media. We do not claim any ownership over your content. Since all processing happens locally on your device, we never have access to your content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The App will meet all your requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Compression results will be identical across all file types
• All defects will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PHOTOS OR VIDEOS, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Updates

We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or address security issues. Updates are delivered through the App Store or Google Play Store. We recommend keeping the App updated for the best experience.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App if you violate these terms.

12. Third-Party Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to:

• Apple's Terms of Service and App Store Terms (iOS)
• Google Play Terms of Service (Android)

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
